The problem (who this is for)

Most people aren’t scared of AI. They’re scared of looking foolish, wasting an afternoon, or paying for a tool nobody ends up using. So it sits in the corner, half-tried and quietly resented.

If that sounds like your team, you’re the people these workshops are built for. No jargon, no assumed knowledge, no being made to feel slow. Just a clear, calm way to start using AI properly, with results you can see in the room.

This is for you if:

  • Your team knows AI matters but nobody’s quite sure where to start
  • You’ve dabbled with ChatGPT or Claude and got generic, underwhelming answers
  • You want a method your people will actually remember next week, not a one-off demo

Why learn about AI with me?

Talking to AI is a communication skill. It’s much closer to briefing a sharp new colleague than to writing code, and that’s the part most training gets wrong.

I’ve spent over 20 years in marketing and the last 8 building websites and doing SEO for small businesses, with 47 five-star Google reviews and more than 250 UK businesses helped. For years my job has been taking complicated online systems and explaining them to people who felt out of their depth, until it clicked.

I now run Wildcurrant on AI every day: client onboarding, document creation, and the back-office work that used to eat my time. I started with ChatGPT and moved to Claude by choice, as a working professional who needed it to earn its place. So when I teach this, I’m teaching what I actually use to run a real business, not theory I read about last month.

That’s the promise: you’ll leave able to do the thing, taught by someone who does it daily and knows how to make it make sense.

What your team will learn

Every workshop is built around the RISEN™ framework, a simple, repeatable way to brief AI so it gives you professional results instead of bland ones. We don’t talk about it in the abstract. Your team builds real prompts, watches the output improve in front of them, and walks out with a method they can use the same afternoon.

Both options are 50 to 70% hands-on, because AI is a skill you build by doing, not a topic you sit through.

These workshops are perfect for you if you’ve heard a lot about AI, feel you should be using it but haven’t taken the plunge  or if you’ve started using AI but want to upgrade your skills. Not for you if you are looking for a deep dive technical engineer focused session.

Tier 1: AI foundations (1 hour)

The fast, confident start. Perfect when time is tight and you want your team using AI well by the end of a single session.

In one hour, your team will:

  • Learn how to think about AI as a smart assistant, and get past the hype
  • Master the RISEN™ framework: Role, Instruction, Steps, End goal, Narrowing
  • Build prompts live in the progressive blog-writing exercise, watching output go from generic to genuinely good
  • Leave with a method they can use immediately, plus RISEN™ reference cards and prompt templates

What they’ll be saying afterwards: AI’s going to be useful for my job, and now I’ve got a way to actually use it.

Tier 2: AI mastery and tool selection (1.5 hours) — recommended

Everything in the foundations workshop, plus the two things that stop AI going wrong: knowing its limits, and knowing which tool to reach for.

The extra 30 minutes is where the real confidence comes from. As well as full RISEN™ mastery, your team will:

  • Spot AI’s weak points, hallucinations, bias, and generic output, and learn how to work around them
  • Work in pairs to identify risky or unwise uses before they cause a problem
  • Compare different AI tools hands-on and learn which one suits which job
  • Take home the tool comparison guide and limitations checklist on top of the standard materials

What they’ll be saying afterwards: I can brief AI properly, I know where it trips up, and I know which tool to use for what.

Why I recommend this one: the foundations hour gets people started; the extra half hour stops them getting burned. For most teams, that’s the difference between a tool they trust and a tool they quietly abandon.
