Website Hosting and Management Services

Just like any software that you have on your computer or phone, WordPress needs to be updated on a regular basis.

Updated versions or WordPress and the Themes and Plugins used to build your site are released frequently. And occasionally a new update of one thing will clash with something already running and break your site. Updating your WordPress site may seem cumbersome, but it’s very important to avoid being hacked and for your website to run at optimal performance, as it has been built.

The long-term stability and performance of your website depend on regular maintenance. But let’s be honest, that’s probably not at the top of your to-do list.

  • Having hosting my website with one of the big names where in the last year it has been hacked – taken over by an Australian Online Casino, and then six months later taken down from the internet by an error on their part and which caused my Pinterest traffic to drop over 27% overnight, I would not be without Melissa’s management plan.

In short, I sleep at night because of it. I am no stranger to the basics of a WordPress website, beyond that however I am out of my depth and for me it is so important to have a human at the end of the phone I can talk to and discuss technical stuff with who is absolutely capable of doing the work.
Melissa is that person and I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Website Hosting and Management Plan:

£65/month

As a small business owner, you’re busy running your business, looking after clients, posting on socials, and juggling everything else that comes with being your own boss. Keeping up with the ever-changing world of website security, software updates, and performance optimisation? Not exactly where you want to spend your time.

Without regular care, your website can quickly run into issues like:
⚠️ Outdated plugins that slow things down (or worse, stop working altogether)
???? Security vulnerabilities that put your site—and your customer data—at risk
Slow load times that frustrate visitors and drive potential clients away

I’ll make sure your website runs smoothly, securely, and looks as professional as the brand you’ve worked so hard to build.

Leaving you with more time for…
✔️ Looking after your clients and growing your business
✔️ Launching new projects and offers
✔️ Building stronger connections with your audience

Because your website should be working for you—not adding to your workload!

What the Website Hosting and Management Plan includes:

✅The cost of all the additional paid Plugins, and Themes I may use to build your site.

✅ Secure Hosting optimised for WordPress Websites
✅ UK based and powered by 100% renewable energy
✅ An active SSL Certificate is included

Daily backups – so your website is always protected.
✅ WordPress, Theme and Plugin updates – keeping everything running smoothly.
Uptime monitoring – ensuring your site stays online.
Security, performance & malware monitoring – so you don’t have to worry about vulnerabilities.

✅ 15 minutes of website updates done for you each month (you can purchase more time with me whenever it is required).

All my website designs come with bespoke video lessons, so you can make small changes yourself if you wish. And if you ever make a change that goes wrong and you can’t fix it, there’s no need to panic — just email me, and I can restore your site to how it looked 24 hours earlier, the very same day.

This is a simple way to safeguard your website’s health and performance—so you can focus on running your business, not fixing your website.

Just Website Hosting

£40/month

You’re not required to sign up for a management plan (but you do have to sign up for a hosting plan) – but if you decide to go it alone, I’ll provide you with a Website Owner’s Manual so you know exactly what updates you need to regularly do with you website (usually weekly).

And just a heads-up: Any premium plugins (including Divi/Kadence or Elementor) or themes I’ve set up for you will need to be purchased separately if you choose not to continue with the plan.

All my website designs come with bespoke video lessons, so you can make small changes yourself if you wish. And if you ever make a change that goes wrong and you can’t fix it I can try to do these fixes for you at my hourly rate of £125. I can not guarantee to be able to fix things back to how they were.

HOPEFULLY, I HAVE ANSWERED SOME MORE OF YOUR QUESTIONS BELOW:

Can I use third party hosting?

No. I only build websites that I also host simply because 99.9% of the companies I build for do not have their own IT team, or experience in website hosting, and I would not able to troubleshoot any website issues you have with external hosting.

What happens if my website is hacked?:

Having a website that is updated and backed up can lessen the odds of a hack, but nothing is foolproof when it comes to hacking these days. Hosting can go down for many reasons and no hosting company will guarantee 100% uptime.

If you should find your website has been hacked remember that I’m a one-person business, not a 24/7 team of designers. I’ll respond as quickly as possible, but this may not be instant. The first step is to roll your website back to a previous version. In some cases, I may put up a maintenance message while work is started on restoring your files. Every situation is different, and not all fixes are immediate. The good news? If you are on the Management Plan I handle the restoration for you, so you don’t need to worry.

If you have chose to go with just Hosting then I charge £125 an hour for any fixes and do not guarantee success.

What happens if I want to cancel my Management or Hosting plan?

Both plan runs on a month-to-month basis, so if you ever need to cancel, just give me 30 days’ notice—no awkward conversations, no strings attached.

And just a heads-up: Any premium plugins (including Divi/Kadence or Elementor) or themes I’ve set up for you will need to be purchased separately if you choose not to continue with the £65 a month Management Plan.
