Website Design for a social media manager

Pepper Social, Cheshire

Lynda is an experienced Social Media Manager based in Cheshire. She wanted a website that would bring in both local clients and those based anywhere in the UK – this I achieved through careful keyword research and splitting the applied on page SEO between local SEO and keywords and phrases that are searched on a national level.

Lynda did have a template website before that hadn’t worked well for her and which she found hard to edit herself. It was important that she felt confident with working in the back end of this WordPress design and I achieved this with some easy-to-follow, bespoke, video lessons.

THE PROJECT

I knew Lynda wanted a bright, light and friendly website and that she was happy to leave all the design elements to me.

Initially, I was working on referencing the black logo that she had been using on the old website. This proved a false start and my first design was looking too sombre.

So together we reconsidered her brand strategy. Lightened the website colour palate and we decided to use the gold Pepper Social logo throughout the site. The design immediately became ‘much more Lynda’ and the build stormed ahead, going live in October 2023.

THIS PROJECT INCLUDED: A WORDPRESS WEBSITE & LOCAL SEO

  • IMPROVED SEO BRINGING IN ENQUIRIES FROM LOCAL BUSINESSES
  • A MODERN. SLEEK DESIGN
  • THE CLIENT IS NOW ABLE TO EDIT THEIR WEBSITE INDEPENDENTLY

Since my new website went live I’ve had regular enquiries from new customers. It’s highlighted the difference between having a website, and having an SEO-optimised website!
