Wildcurrant is owned and run by Melissa Critchley who has more than a dozen years of experience as a marketing and PR consultant.
Initially trained as a chef at Leith’s School of Food and Wine and having developed Directors’ Dining at one of the world’s largest Law firms in London she went on to study for an Economics degree which took her to work in central Europe in Tax Planning.
On returning to the UK she ran a successful catering company in the Welsh Marches and when commitments with children forced her to reassess, turned her people and project management skills towards marketing and PR.
Melissa has worked for clients in 5* tourism, food & drink, for artists and cultural venues, some of the top antique dealers in London, luxury property, agriculture and education.
Her work has taken her from the West Country into London and on to East Anglia. She’s a people person and master communicator with a passion for strategy and the big picture.
